My goal

All my adult life I have had weight issues. It has been up and down, up and down. For some periods of time I have been in a good place, both physically and mentally, in my goal weight and felt good about it. Mostly I have been overweight and not happy about it, not been able to just get up and do something about it. 
In 4 days I am moving to Japan to become a housewife. I see this as my opportunity to make some changes for good. I will log all my meals on myfitnesspal to keep track of all calories eaten and I have yet to decide which app to use to track all calories burned, any suggestions (please leave suggestions in a comment below if you would like to recommend an app for tracking fitness activities). 
Today I am 25 kg away from my goal weight. I think it would be good to give myself a year to get rid of the extra weight. The reason I want to loose this weight is not just to look better but also to feel better, to be more fit and last but not least to be more flexible, right now I can not reach my toes and I would like to change that. So here we go again ...
