So I have a huge wall hanging quilt in the works. It is a paper piecing quilt and I designed it myself. I have only ever done one paper piecing project so far and of course not an easy one.
I made this picture for Margret and it is not perfect but I still love it.
My next project, the wall hanging I designed myself, is a gift to family members so I can't share it with you until after Christmas but I promise I will share it then. NOW, for people who know me well know I usually get crazy ideas, usually in the nick of time, to make something myself, something I might never have done before and not even practice before I start with something big. My sisters wedding cake is a good example. But somehow I always mange in the end. This project on the other hand is very dear to me and I want it to be perfect, or close to it. SO now I planning a small paper piecing project to practice on before I start the big one.
The project I am planning to use as practice is a block called friendship circle and I found it on one of my favourite youtube quilting channels, 3and3quarters. I am going to make a cushion or two and here are the fabrics I am going to use.
