On Saturday I finished another baby quilt. It was a gift to Siffi's teammate who had a baby boy in the middle of November. This Saturday their team, Wakunaga Leolics, played their only home game here in our village, this season. I used that opportunity to give it to him. They won the game by the way :)
So the quilt. Since I wanted this to be a baby quilt I halved all the measurements. Each block was supposed to be 12" x 12" but mine were 6" x 6" and my finished quilt was 38" x 38" (about 97 cm).
What I love the most about my project to make baby quilts as gifts is that I have now finished four ones and that means, less fabric, takes less time but you still go through all the processes. This quilt for example is the first one where the binding was perfect. I was so happy with it :)
The quilt as a whole is not perfect by any means, but it is very beautiful and I am learning so much.
So how do you like it? I think it is so beautiful and I love this design by Elizabeth Hartman.
