I love to make baby quilts.
First of all they are a great gift and secondly they are smaller and then I have time to make more quilts :)
Last winter I gifted these to quilts to twins.
The pattern is called Sea Glass BABY Quilt. I bought it on Craftsy and I love it.
I have never been a fan of appliqué but I learned a lot making these even if all the shapes are the same :) I think I might try some more of it soon.
I also loved to choose the colors, these pictures are a little misleading because they were taken in Iceland in December so there was not a lot of light. The colors are much brighter is reality.
The fabric I used was all something I had in my strach already. I have blogged about it before but I am a subscriber of a monthly fatquarter club from Fatquartershop.com. For the two inner circles of each star I used fat quarters and for the two outer circles I used fabric I had at hand.
