I haven't blogged for some days now, partly because we have guests also because I have had some trouble with the internet. We have been enjoying the time with our guests, but the travelling and showing everything off was put on hold for the first day due to our recovery. But we were able to show them the hospital in Miyoshi on the very first day, top that! Margret got a clean bill of health and now we are more or less recovered. Today we went on a shopping trip to Hiroshima city. I showed my mother i law my favourite shop on Hondori street, Country cats. It is so Kawai (japanese for cute). It has lots of Christmas decorations and just packed with cute useless things :) When I got time I try to practice my japanese and espesially my writing of Hiragana, the most basic japanese alphabet :) I hope I will be able to go to class on Tuesday since I have missed the last two classes. Until next time さよなら

Today is the first Sunday in advent (i have no idea how to use this word in English). Accorging to icelandic tradition we lighted the first candel in our advent wreath. I bought all the items at a 100 yen shop so the total cost was 500 yen :) it is not much but at least we can light our candels each sunday until Christmas dsy :) I have put my origami on hold for a few days and now my new sewingmachine is on overdrive. I have started making Christmas decorations to hang in the ceiling. I will show you some pictures when it is done. But today we went to Miyoshi to do some shopping and eat dinner. I bought a present for an unknown two year old girl that I am going to send to Iceland and a friend is going to place it under the Christmas tree in Kringlan, the local mall. I started this tradition when Margret was born. I started to give a present to children that might not get a present orherwise and I decided to give a present to a child of same sex and at the same age as my children. So now Margret and I chose a present she liked and I made a giftbag that is possible to use again and again. I hope the little girl that receives it will be happy. Showing our guests our neighbourhood was so much fun today :)
Tomorrow Hiroshima City and I am driving :) Today we welcomed our first guests from Iceland. Margret and I went to Hiroshima this afternoon to pick up my mother-and-father-in-law. It is so nice to see them again. They will stay in Japan for six weeks, thou they wont spend all of that time with us. My mother-in-law in japanese so now I have a fulltime translator at my side :) that will be so nice ;)
The house finally looks like it is intended for humans to live in, that was not an easy task after the couple of weeks we have had. But now it is all looking good, house clean, we more or less better and good company from Icelsnd :) I think this week will be great. We are alive. This has been crazy week. Margret got sick snd had to go to the hospital. She is better now and we came home yeasterday. Siffi has however left us for two day to compete somewhere, I haven't even thought to ask where. I think somewhere near Nagoya. But we didn't just sit around doing nothing. I had some more ideas for origami Christmas orniments and got some done. We have to stay indoors until next Wednesday so I will probably make some more. Today the plan is to get our appartment back to the stage it looks like it is intended for humans to live in it! That will take its time with a bored two year old in tow. Wish me good luck :) ![]() So the maple festival I thought was today was last weekend and the competition at school I thought was yesterday was Wednesday! A little misunderstanding :) But we made the best of we could and took a stroll in the maple tree park. Today we also watched Wakunaga play in Nagoya. Margret loves to watch handball, does not matter if Siffi is playing or not, she clapps and shouts PABBI :)
They will come home late tonight and we are looking forward to have a whole Sunday with Siffi tomorrow. This has become a tradition on mornings that Siffi is coming away to compete. I have desided to call it omi-mess :) Today Leolic go to Nagoya to compete tomorrow. Then they will be back late tomorrow eve. Margret and will find something exciting to do meanwhile. Today there is a race at the Elementery svhool that we might go and look at. Tomorrow is a mapke festival one town away :) more on that later :) Margret and I went for a drive this morning when Siffi had left. We drow throgh the countyside and enjoyed the autumn colours. Suddenly I desided to stop and let Margret walk alittle around. Then we heard some cows! And again and we walked and followed the sound to a farm. Where I saw few men working. I bid good day and asked "okay" and pointed at the cows, one of them responded OKAY so we walked and talked to the cows. When we had talked awhile and Margret and I thouhgt it was time to go I call Thank you in japanese and the men waved us good bye. This was good and I walked more steps than my goal for the day was. Today Margret and I went on a shopping trip to Miyoshi. It is 17 km away and it has a small mall :) we like it alot. We went to shoe plaza one of our favorite shops and bought these for Margret since it is started to be alot colder around here. In the nights it has gone as low as 3 degrees C. And at daytime the temp is 11-15. We went to shoe plaza one of our favorite shops and bought these for Margret since it is started to be alot colder around here.
