My knee is getting better but every muscle is so tight that I can hardly move. My physiotherapist is doing his best to loosen me up but it is not an easy job.
I have some exercises I have to do at home as well as some very hurtfull places I have to massage myself. I am no sure all of these places are muscles, some must be bones!
Because it is Sunday and we will have guests over the night I made some lummur.
I remember my parents making them when I was younger with leftover rice-porridge. Since I always have leftover cooked rice I decided to try it :)
Today Siffi was busy teaching handball so Margret and I had a fun day together. We went to Hiroshima city and did some shopping and on our way home we stopped at Toys r us to buy a new car seat.
Very nice seat and now it is so much easier to get her sit in her seat and not having it take ten min to get her seated!!
We talked to some family members on Skype when we got home and Siffi joined us on our last call. Afterwards I prepared some Yakitori (japanese chicken BBQ) and went outside to cook it on our mini BBQ. Somehow I always get a craving for BBQ when the weather is nice so I guess I will do it often in the next month :)
We had a very cozy dinner sitting on the floor in our livingroom, listening to icelandic music, eating japanese BBQ and enjoying each others company :)
There seems to be new kind of tree/flower blooming all the time. On our walk today we saw many beautiful blossoms.
We have not been on a walk for quite some time now and it felt so good. Met sone old ladies we talked to, it is so much easier now and I understand so much more :)
Today we are enjoying ourselfs at a local artsmuseum in Miyoshi. Our friend works there and now there is an exhibition of children's art.
Now we are enjoying a great lunch at the cafeteria :)
I feel like a sports hero. Today I had my second of five injection to my right knee. I also had an apointment with my physiotherapist. All very sportsy.
Doesn't look like much, but hurt as hell.So for the next three weeks at least I will go to the physiotherapist twice a week and on Fridays I will get an injection as well.
My knee is getting a bit better and so is my back but I have a lot of work ahead of my to get my soar muscles to an acceptable condition.
Tonight and yesterday the sky has been so beautiful around here. Tomorrow night it will probably not be as beautiful since there is a tyhoon on its way. News are full of weather reports and reporters with helmets telling people to prepare.
Almost, but not quite. Before we went to Tokyo I broke the screen on my iPhone 6. As that is not bad enough ... yesterday when we finally had time to get it fixed, due to language misunderstanding and stupidity on my part I have lost all the pictures I have taken on the phone since January. What a stupid thing not to back up my phone more often !!!! BUT the reason I am not crying, only almost, is that I have posted so many pictures both on my blog and in my family’s facebook page that I can get a lot of them saved from there, though it is not the same, it is some comfort to me. Enough of that.
We were in Tokyo for a week with Siffi’s parents and now they are here with us for 10 days. It has been so much fun having guest again.
We spent a very wet day in Tokyo Disneyland. It was so much fun though everyone were wet through.
Siffi's mother and I went to Nippori Textile town. We have been before and we loved it so we decided to go again. What a great place. I shopped for about 10.000 Yen (ISK) but I got so much. I will let you know what I make of all this fabric. Here are some pictures.
Since we got home to Hiroshima the weather has been a bit crazy, sunny, raining, heavy raining, lightnings, very windy. But we have taken some walks and since all our neighbors are harvesting vegetable these weeks we have had many gifts :) I don't even know what all of this!
Now it is time for some housework before I go get Margret at the kindergarten, until next ...
We are enjoying a night out in Tokyo. We went to a restaurant near a JR station just like our guide Megan taught us last year. You could feel the trains while they drow ahead but what a place :) I loved it.
The yakitori was so good ...
Now we are at the movies ...
