Yesterday I finished a new bedding for my 2 month old daughter. Next up is to do a bigger one for my 5 year old daughter.
In Japan I had a whole corner in the living room set up as my sewing space and could leave my things there and no-one would touch it. It was a great set up.
Now I have two kids and no sewing room. I use the diningroom table as my sewing table when I have time to sew. So now this small corner is my sewing space, when I have time and no-one is using it :)
I have the little cart in the corner to put my sewing away at dinner time and then I have a closet full of my stach and things.
It is not perfect but I kind of love it. The only thing I think is missing is something on that gray wall. I would love to make a wall hanging for it.
My idea is to make sever wall hangings, at least one for each season. Then I could change it and not get bored with it :)
The only proble is when I will find time to make them.
I have already started one of them, but I just have to have time to finish it. No idea when that will happen, my list of quilts I want to do is LONG :)
What you see set up on the table is a little project I am making for my YOUTUBE channel. I just have to finish my rail fench quilt first.
More on that later.
I am always planning my sewing way way ahead. My latest is that I want to make a quilt for my bed for once, not just everyone else. I saw this beatiful quilt at Make Modern and bought the issue.
I will have to make it 4 across and 5 down, so it will fit my bed but I really love it. It is easy and clean but still has some character.
I am just not sure when I will be able to have time for it. Hopefully soon. What I look forward to most is to decide the colors and fabrics :) I feel giddy just tinking about it.
