My night started of with this
I had finished all my big green blocks but I had not pieced them together and I had all the sashing left. This pattern really is coming one of my favorites.
As I have mentioned before I found it in a book I bought on Amazon by chance. It is called Jelly Forest and you can use jelly rolls to make it, but I cut all my fabric into strips from yardage I bought on Fat Quarter Shop. The metallic fabrics are from a fat quarter bundle by Northcott Fabrics and I LOVE them, I am really glad I have some left over. The rest I either had in my stash or bought online. So after a whole evening of piecing and pressing and correcting this is the top ready for trimming and boarders.
I hope I will finish it this week so my daughter can enjoy it. We have been redecorating her room and all it needs is a great quilt to finish it off.
Since she is almost four years old of course there is a lot of pink in her room so I am thinking of making her a "Jelly Cherry" cushion. Using this pattern but variety of pink fabrics instead of green. How do you like that idea? Do you think that could work?
